JPS Projects has achieved UKAS-accredited certification across three key ISO management standards: ISO 9001 (Quality Management), ISO 14001 (Environmental Management), and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety Management).
What’s changed
We’ve held ISO certification across these three standards for some time. The change now is accreditation: our certification is independently verified by UKAS, the UK’s national accreditation body. UKAS doesn’t certify companies directly, instead it checks that the certification bodies doing the auditing are themselves competent, impartial, and consistent. In practice, that means our certificates now carry an extra layer of scrutiny that self-declared or non-accredited certification simply doesn’t offer.
Why it matters
For clients and partners, UKAS accreditation is a faster way to answer the question “can we trust this?” without having to take our word for it. Many tender processes and pre-qualification questionnaires ask specifically for UKAS-accredited certification, so this also strengthens our position when bidding for new work.
Beyond paperwork, the three standards reflect how we actually operate day to day: consistent, documented processes (ISO 9001), a managed approach to reducing our environmental impact (ISO 14001), and a formal system for keeping our people safe on site (ISO 45001).

If you’re a client or considering working with us, this is confirmation that our systems have been checked, not just claimed. Our new accreditation logos are now live on our website, and copies of the certificates are available on request.
